Second Collection – There is a second collection this weekend for Peter’s Pence. White Flower Appeal –The society for the Protection of Unborn Children will be holding its annual Appeal next weekend. In common with the Catholic Church SPUC defends & upholds the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death The Society’s work covers a wide spectrum of concerns. It seeks to protect unborn children from abortion, embryo research & unethical fertility techniques, & in recent years it has helped fight euthanasia too. It provides trained speakers for school & offers a number of pro-life support services, including those for teachers, parents & medical professionals. BCYS Aylesford Youth Festival: Sat. 4th July, A coach will be going from St. John Payne School departing at 9am & returning at approx. 9.30pm. This day of activities, fun & worship is open to anyone aged 12 – 18. Ecumenical Pilgrimage to Bradwell Sat. 4th July: Theme: ‘One’ – One Hope, One People, etc.. Starting at 11am @ Bradwell village Church of St. Thomas for opening service (outdoors) then walk to St. Peter’s Chapel to enjoy your picnic on the grass & join in the open air service. There will be music, stalls & refreshments. Ample parking at Bradwell Village Hall & transport to Peter’s Chapel for those who need it. English Martyrs Choir, Danbury – The choir will be taking their summer break after the 10.45am Mass, 28th June. The choir will resume on Sunday Sept. 6th.
